ME

Hello. I’m Julia and I have 15+ years working at the intersection of technology and social impact.

Quick Hits:

I am equal parts a dreamer and a doer. I love the process as much as what’s possible. If you are looking for someone who is a thought partner in visioning and a project manager in execution—that’s me.

Bio in a nutshell:

I served the Portland community as a case manager at Central City Concern, delighted customers as a lead pastry chef, started my own catering and event management company (my cookies are bomb.com), and worked as a development director at a local school, leveraging relationship management systems and major gifts work to bring education to life. I did programs and product management for a digital consulting firm called ThinkShout and went on to head up their Sales and Marketing team. Then I went full SaaS and built the HubSpot for Nonprofits program- 10xing the company’s initial business case, onboarding more than 50 partners, and rolling out in 4 countries. Currently I head up partnerships and sales operations for a very cool startup called AidKit, focused on making direct cash and public benefits prorgamming more accessible.

When I am not busy you can find me baking, swimming, traveling, building community with the likes of Multnomah County Democrats, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Portland Refugee Support Group- all the while trying desperately to achieve fluency in Spanish.
